VesselMaker is operated by Marco Siino (“we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of the VesselMaker web app. By signing in and using the tool, you agree to them. You can reach us at hello@vesselmaker.app with any question.
VesselMaker is a browser-based tool for designing 3D-printable vases, bowls, planters, and similar vessels. Signing in with Google is required to use it (see Privacy Policy). Access may be limited during phases of the beta — while it is, having an account does not by itself guarantee access. See the sign-in page for the current status.
You sign in with Google — there is no separate password to create or store. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since that's what controls access to your VesselMaker account. Signing in with a different Google account is treated as a different account, with its own entitlements; we don't merge or recover access across accounts.
The core editor, 3D preview, and export of designs that use no premium feature are available at no cost. Some features and modifiers are premium: they may be tried out in the live preview before you export, though this isn't guaranteed for every premium feature, now or in the future. Pro lets you export everything you create, premium features included; Commercial adds the commercial-use rights described below. For now, subscriptions are unlocked either by a redemption code or by a grant made directly by us — this is a temporary arrangement while we don't yet run automated recurring billing; we plan to introduce self-serve subscription plans in the future. Any prices shown elsewhere in the product are set outside of these Terms and may change; they don't modify what's written here.
Two kinds of files come out of VesselMaker: exported meshes (the output of the Export function, e.g. STL/3MF) and saved project files (the design projects you save and re-open to keep editing). What you may export, and what you may then do with the result — and with physical objects printed from it — depends on your subscription tier. Everyone, on every tier, may design and preview freely, save project files, and keep copies on their own devices.
Saved project files may never be shared or distributed to anyone, on any tier. The export and publication rights below apply only to exported meshes — never to project files.
Any digital publication of an exported mesh, at every tier — Free, Pro, and Commercial, free or paid — must carry the exact phrase “Made with VesselMaker — vesselmaker.app” together with a link to https://vesselmaker.app/. The only exception is physical prints sold under a Commercial subscription, which need no attribution on the prints themselves.
The publication and commercial rights above depend on holding an active subscription of the required tier for the entire time the material is offered or available — not just at the moment you publish or sell. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled while an exported file is still published on a marketplace, or a print is still listed or offered for sale anywhere, you must take it down or stop offering it. Printing or publishing something during an active subscription doesn't grant an ongoing right once the subscription ends. Personal use — printing for yourself or as gifts, keeping files privately, or showing images of your creations non-commercially — is always allowed, regardless of tier.
The VesselMaker software — its source code, design, user interface, and branding — is owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership or license in the software itself, beyond the rights explicitly granted above regarding your own designs. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, tamper with, or otherwise attempt to circumvent any protection, licensing, or entitlement-verification mechanism of the service.
VesselMaker generates a 3D mesh (STL) intended for FDM 3D printing. We aim for manifold, slicer-ready output, but we don't certify or guarantee the structural strength, water-tightness, or food/liquid safety of anything you actually print — that depends on your printer, material, print settings, and post-processing. If you plan to hold liquids, use with food, or sell prints to others, you're responsible for testing and for complying with any applicable safety standards or regulations.
Any misuse of these Terms — including distributing exported files beyond the rights your tier grants, distributing saved project files, publishing without the required attribution, or selling/offering physical objects without an active Commercial subscription for the whole time they're offered — may result in permanent termination of your account, a report of the infringement to the relevant marketplace, platform, or hosting provider (for example, a DMCA takedown notice or the equivalent under applicable law), and legal action against you, at our discretion.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms, without affecting designs or files you've already exported to your own device.
VesselMaker is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool or of anything you print from your designs.
If these Terms change materially, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to us as the operator of the service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
